About Memor Health
Memor Health is an outpatient mental health practice in Reno, Nevada. Our psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and therapists care for people from Reno, Sparks, and across Northern Nevada. Our psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners currently provide care for adults only, while our therapists offer services for adults, teens, and children.
We believe people have the power to change their lives. Our job is to help you find that power and use it.
Our approach
We look at the whole person, not just a diagnosis. Mood is shaped by many things, like sleep, stress, support at home, diet, and other health problems. Your plan takes all of them into account.
Many patients see a psychiatric provider and a therapist here at the same time. Medication and therapy then fit into one care plan, and your providers talk to each other.
Who leads your care
Dr. Yvette Kaunismaki is our psychiatrist and Medical Director. She has been board certified in psychiatry since 2011 and trained at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine. She sees adults 18 and older for psychiatric evaluations and medication management. She also leads our team of psychiatric providers and therapists.
Dr. Kaunismaki also reviews the health articles on our blog before they’re published. Each reviewed article shows her name and the review date.

We accept many insurance plans, including Medicare (Noridian). We don’t accept Medicaid plans. See the insurance plans we accept.
